Investing in Your Care
My practice is structured around longer, 90-minute appointments to allow the time and space needed for meaningful therapeutic work without feeling rushed. This model supports individualized, high-quality care tailored to your unique needs — rather than being constrained by insurance requirements or arbitrary time limits.
Session Fees
Intake Assessment (90 minutes) — $350
A comprehensive initial session that includes clinical assessment, history-taking, and collaborative treatment planning. This session lays the foundation for our work together and ensures we begin with a clear, individualized roadmap for your healing.
EMDR Therapy Session (90 minutes) — $325
The primary treatment format for EMDR therapy, allowing sufficient time for preparation, reprocessing, and integration within a single therapeutic container. Ninety minutes gives us the space to go deep without leaving you feeling unfinished or dysregulated at the end of a session.
Focused Therapy Session or Shorter EMDR Session (60 minutes) — $250
A shorter session option for stabilization, resourcing, or brief check-ins between EMDR reprocessing sessions. This format can also be a good fit for clients who are in a maintenance phase of treatment or managing specific targeted concerns.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept major credit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and Zelle.
Insurance & Superbills
I am a private pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. However, if you have out-of-network benefits through a PPO plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance provider. I am happy to provide a monthly superbill — a detailed receipt with the necessary billing codes — that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Many clients are reimbursed between 50–80% of session fees, which can make private pay therapy more affordable than it initially appears.
I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and asking:
"Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?"
"What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met?"
"What percentage of the fee is reimbursed once my deductible is met?"
Cancellation Policy
I ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be charged the full session fee. This policy allows me to offer that time to other clients who may be waiting for an appointment.
I understand that life happens — exceptions may be made in the case of sudden illness or genuine emergency at my discretion.
