I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and Maryland with a passion for supporting others through mental health counseling. I know what it’s like to be on the client side of the couch, and I strive to meet people exactly where they are at on their healing journey.
As the youngest of three, I grew up in South Florida alongside a brother with disabilities—an experience that shaped my early understanding of empathy and resilience. That exposure gave me firsthand insight into how chronic illness can impact family dynamics. I am also a descendant of Holocaust survivors, which has instilled in me a profound understanding of trans-generational trauma and persistance.
I originally studied Animal Science at the University of Florida (go Gators!) with plans to become a veterinarian, but ultimately found my calling in psychotherapy—and have never looked back. I went on to complete my clinical training at Virginia Commonwealth University (go Rams!), where I deeply valued my education and growth. In mid-2022, I moved to the DMV area, met my partner, and the rest is history.
In my free time I enjoy writing mental health related articles for publication, cooking, trying new cuisines, traveling, playing kickball, watching TV, and spending time with friends and family.
